I never consider it unusual to see my kids eat green stuff. I totally forgot that most kids and even adults dread eating green stuff. So how did I make it happen? is it because I’m SUPERMOM and IKNOWITALL? NO!
as a matter of facts I’m pretty clueless, but one thing I do notice is that they love what I love. I hate meaty meat, huh? you know dense meat like chicken breast, turkey breast even pork& beef loin. DANG what do you eat you asked? well I eat chicken wings, turkey neck, pork chop I nibble around the bone part. I notice my girls starts to do the same things, my 2year old will crush some chicken wings, turkey neck but goes yelk on actual meat. My one year old well she is “Mickey” (remember give it to Mickey he’ll eat it) My one year old throw everything down as long as shes is hungry, but my 2year no so much. Last night I serve broccoli, sweet potato and beef stew, but i had a side of turkey neck on the side for me since I’m not a big fan of meaty meat. My girls was eating up broccoli, and asking for more. They ignore their meats, and wanted to have some of my turkey necks. So i gave each of them a big piece of turkey neck and MORE broccoli and sweet potato. So I deduct from this dinner is that my kids only LOVE what I love.
What have I learn from this? if you want your kids to eat healthy well eat healthy yourself! If you would like them to eat greens gabble your own greens in front of them.
Now I see it make perfect sense how in some part of the world people eat rotten eggs, fried roaches, fried rats, barbecue cats(China I’m looking at you… Brazil too) and some other stuff that we western would consider gross and even compelled you to vomit just reading this. That’s what they see their parents do! generation goes by, the brain suggest that it taste good so they eat baby duck still in the shell and love it!
So what do you ladies (and gents) think of my little analysis? prove me wrong or prove me right!

A couple years ago, at a women conference I go every year My first lady (Ms Debbie Shipman) spoke about the benefit of eating dinner at the table as a family. It was a life changing lesson.
I didn’t think I could do it. I was freaking out since our schedule was so hectic. But I got it done, its a super late dinner but its a dinner.
Results: Since we’ve been doing that I have better relationship with my husband, the girls learn to pray, say please and thank you.
My kids behave in restaurants, I see toddlers going crazy in restaurant but my daughters feel right at home.
My kids are still little so its an experiment in progress. Do you eat dinner at the table regularly as family?
