Day 19 – Another picture of yourself. well… you’ll get two ![]()

I got into the thrifting game, I can’t take credit for pick up the dress (dIvAmOm did!) but I did wear it good didn’t I? camera phone picture didn’t do it justice.
What do you think?
Now this one is from girls night out. I say flat are for wimps! bam!

Day 20 – The meaning behind your blog name.
Total accident!
I was working from home, with a baby latch to my breast. I had my laptop on the side and the baby on my lap, I was working on a project and hit a major breakthrough, I was so excited I wanted to talk about it but baby only looks at me
that’s when I started calling myself SUPERMOM! When I had the idea to build the page supermom.com was taken, so I played with several variation and ended buying this long grammatically incorrect domain by accident. Long story short I wanted too long to cancel so the name stick I didn’t care. I have been working on re-branding the blog I just haven’t found that “IT” name yet. I will keep you guys posted on the changes, but if you have any suggestion feel free to chime in… in the mean time Supermomplace it is!
Day 21 – A photo of something that makes you happy.
That something that makes me happy is that same something I crave here
*Wink wink*
Happy Friday!

Where was I you ask? well I’m not as late as you think. The whole month of May is mother’s month. So it is mother’s day everyday this month
I remember in catholic school we use to celebrate the month of May as the month of Mary (The mother of all).
Okay! good explanation for my late mother’s day post, the truth is I didn’t get around to it on time ![]()
See I had to wash my SUPERMOM cape, *sideeyes* and it was my super special day! I was in being pampered mode.
On May 22nd it’s going to be mother’s day in Mexico, Europe, Haiti… and some other places.
Happy Mother’s!
What did you do or what did you get for mother’s day?

I was roaming through the blogsphere and checking out other mom bloggers. Since I have been in the blogging game for a while now, I have collected a great deal of friends. As I look into some of the mom bloggers most of them had some kind of writing back ground or aspiring to be writers or just love to write. I take a look at myself got me thinking… English is like my third language, my grammar is terrible, and I can’t spell to save my life! Am I just a big giant fraud?
I have other online businesses; I ran a dating site with my husband, a staycation directory but I never thought of a blog… I can remember to this day I was nursing a baby and working on my laptop, I had just had a major breakthrough in a code I was working on… I got so happy, I was shouting just needed someone to give a hug or high five. I just start talking to the baby: “Mommy did it girl! Give mommy high five! Say go mommy! Go mommy! Mommy’s a supermom she crack the code and nurse at the same time” (Yeah! I’m really into myself) She didn’t really care she just wanted some breast milk that’s all. In lack of “mature” people to talk to I just start talking to myself… So I would type my thoughts cause if I start talking out loud eh that would be kinda cookoo. So I head over to goddady bought a domain, install wordpress and just start talking to myself.
I never intended to be a blogger, I am not a writer! In fact my page has been up for a whole year before anybody notice it. I was just beyond myself when one day I posted something about “the effect of sugar on your life” (it was just an email my husband sent me… and again in lack of mature people to discuss the facts with me I post it)
And someone comment! And mention “I love your blog” blog? What blog? When did I start a blog?
So now am I a blogger? Is that just an offense to real bloggers? Anyway I have met so many great people and have learned so much, SupermomPlace has become such a great community of Supermoms… I LOVE y’all SUPERMOMs(tears)! I’m so glad blogging happen to me.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. Psalms 100:4-5

I have been living in Palm beach for almost ten years now, but all my daily activity happened in Boca Raton. I went to school in Boca and now I work in Boca. I get off the same exit everyday for about five year. Every time I get off on Glades I always get the feeling like I’m lost, and I would start thinking “did I miss my exit”.
I have repeated that process so many time that my mind just run on autopilot and I don’t realize where I am anymore. This happen to me again yesterday and it got me thinking about my daughter. She goes outside she fascinated by dry pine string, little pieces of grass, squirrels, birds every little things is a huge deal for her. She does not let anything go by her. She pays close attention to everything and shows her appreciation for it, even if it is by putting it in her mouth. Then I started thinking about how much money people pay to come lay in the beautiful Florida sun. I saw this couple driving on I-95 with their top down, hair blowing in wind she lift up her arm and was just enjoying the sun, while I had my windows up and AC running. Sometimes we grow up and loses our ability to stop and enjoy our everyday blessings. So today this is what I am going to do! Its thanksgiving and I’m thinking of all the things I’m thankful for, and I made my list. Here it goes:
I am thankful for Life, I’m thankful for my beautiful healthy kids, I’m thankful for my awesome hubby, I’m thankful for my mom who help me with my kids, I’m thankful for warm beautiful Florida (That I often take for granted) I’m thankful for my wonderful congregation (Winners Church Rock!!) I’m thankful for my job, I’m thankful for my blog where I can blab away when there no one around to talk, I’m thankful to be a working mom, I thankful to be a supermom… I am thankful
On that note I am thankful to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y’ALL!
Until later

Hi there my super mommies!
Its been a while since we talked. Even super-mommies get caught up in the whirl, with an active fourteen months old, a full time job and carrying a baby we all could say that’s an enough load for anybody. Well I manage but I lack time to write my blogs.
Bring us to the Nadya Suleman “Octo-mom” charade. That woman is a single woman with no job, made herself 6 children one by one, then went ahead for another set of eight kids! WOW! She may be crazy but if she think she can do it in my book she is a supermom. I have one little one and she a hand full to me, imagine 8 14 months old… now that’s an adventure.
