Last week hubby and I decide to drive down Miami to check out the Pro-ball festivities. Just our luck 1 hour of drive later we made it to south beach and it started to rain heavily. So disappointed we decide to turn around, but we had a sitter we can’t just go home and ruin our date night. So on our way back we stop by the Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale. We valet the car, took pictures like it was a real vacation or staycation in our case. We walking around and there it was all you can eat crab… aww I have die and go to sea food heaven! I thought that I was going to eat crab all night long since I looooove me some crab. Eh.. after 4 re-order I was already sick of crabs, and the night is young. My very smart husband dare me to play the slot machine for $20 the only thing I hate more than losing my money is a dare. So I took the dare and we agree to play $20.
So I sat there slide my 20 in and start pushing the button. Last time I check the definition of crazy it says: “someone who does the exact same thing and expecting a different result”. So I went crazy for a brief moment, I push the button I lose my money, I push again I lose my money and again, and again… On my last 25cents I hit it and it took me back to $30.76cents. ah ha! Cash Out! I cash out my $30.76 so I basically made $10.76. I was ready to walk out but I let him talk me into playing again and I got greedy and lost a $20.
Dumb Dumb dumb! How are you going sit here and push a button and expect to make money? at least if it was a challenge I could have engineered a system for it, I could try to figure it out until I win. Like that one time at an office party they had a money blower machine you were suppose to catch the bill while they flying. Boy I study the velocity of the wind, the direction the bills were going and make sure I got in there when they just refill and walk out with $430. At least some variable was in my control, but pushing a button really? Gambling is the dumbest game ever! Maybe I just hate losing my money… Have anyone ever try gambling?
