How sweet and tasty it is?
Something about seeing the results of my efforts make me oh so happy.
I’m happy when I see my 3 year old put on her pajamas by herself, brush her teeth… I’m happy when I see my 2 year old attempt to apply lotion on herself, even if she’s only covering a place spot on her tummy, it make me happy that she can.
to think that just (or seems to be)a few months ago, I had a little squirmy wormy kicking out of her swaddle, now she can walk, talk, and do things on her own, makes me wanna sit back and marveled.
This morning I was pleasantly surprise when I walk out of the house and compulsively check on my plants like I always do and I notice I had a nice plum green pepper hanging on my little pepper tree.
it’s been a year since I planted those seeds! a whole year! I made my gardening start up announcement here.

See? I had 5 beds of sweet pepper, hot pepper, lettuce, rosemary and parsley.
My parsley was they only thing that came through. My peppers? The first batch I over watered, I had to scrape them and replant in another pot, they were completely drown. The second batch got frozen from that little cold front we had in December, After the freeze there were only 3 frail plants left standing I moved them again into another pot with new dirt…
so today when I got out to see that little pepper I was so happy I was doing cartwheel… in my head at least.
I have turn a seed into a pepper!
That’s my accomplishment for today and I’m so proud of my little pepper guy!

To celebrate Earth day today
Kailee and I water the hibiscus, Kaylee couldn’t do it because it seems like just like her daddy she is allergic to pollen. I had to move my 2 hibiscus plant up to the balcony from the patio because both of them started to get real sick, my husband think its the flowers so I moved them just in case.
Anyway, we water all our plant, listen to birds, watch squirrel – later on we going to plant corn in a can!
I use to love doing that when I was a kid. I’ll plant 3 or 4 corn seeds in a can water it everyday and watch it grow. I use to have cans corn, black beans, papaya everything we eat that had a seed I would plant it. Too bad I never let them produce anything cause I would touch them too much, I always accidentally break the stem or drop the can or get bored cause it wasn’t growing fast enough. Hopefully this time around I can teach Kailee to be patient and not be like mommy was.
Happy Earth Day! What are you doing to celebrate? took your kids to work?
