For those of you that are regular here at supermomplace we all know I have two small babies under 2… gasp! how did I manage to do that? well you stay pregnant for 2 years straight. Back to the subject, I have a super active 20 months old she alone is enough for anybody to deal with. She is super sensitive, when she is happy its to the max, when she’s unhappy she lets you know! then comes my 8 months (whom I’m weaning cold turkey this week) she is the happy baby, sits her down with some toy she is good for a good 10 minutes, or until her big sister drive by screaming “MINE!” and took the toys from her. Poor little baby umh. I don’t know if it has to do with the weaning my usually happy baby has become a bit whiny. She follow me around the house crying reaching her cute little arm with sad eyes that says mommy pick me up. I usually do, but yesterday I just couldn’t. So I call in my CELL PHONE. One of them had already downloaded some music on my phone and cost me big $$ in data. I figure I might as well put them to use. I turn the music on on my phone hand it to her. Boy! she was so exited, she was dancing and slabbing on the phone. 15 minutes later and $30 worth of data, she was calm and happy give me plenty of time to take care of my bizwack
I always heard how using the TV as a baby sitter is such a bad idea, which I totally agree with. I have never heard of the cellphone babysitter. I just found out about it and I kinda like it.
YEAH! it might cost you, phone might ended in the toilet or missing for days but its a great in home babysitter.
To all my super working moms, what do you think of the cell phone babysitter?

You all already know by now they don’t call me supermom for nothing, I know a good deal when I see one. I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old which mean I know a thing or two about buying formulas. I know how much $$mulah that can go flying right out of your pocket from buying brand’s name formulas. Did you know that just by switching to Parent’s Choice baby formula you could be saving as much as $600 a year and not cheat your baby of their much needed nutrition! Just head over to their site and try the savings calculator to make the comparison, I just did it. You’ll get to pick the brand name formula you are currently using and match it to the equivalent Parent’s Choice baby formula. Can you say $$catching catching$$! For instance I feed my kids the Similac® Organic, the 25.7 oz cost $24.88 , now I look at the Parent’s Choice Organic the same 25.7 oz cost $14.97! OK I’ll give a few minutes to do the math… Not enough fingers? I’ll tell you: that’s $477.20 a year! Now why would I keep buying brands? to keep up with the “Jones”? Well keep up with the “Jones” if you want to, I’m switching to to Parent’s Choice baby formula. By the way don’t feel bad if you couldn’t come up with the numbers, I suck at numbers too I just used the savings calculator.
Ok now supermoms, now that you know my secrets go ahead and use the savings calculator and let me know in the comments how much you could be saving!

What’s my name? I’m a supermom I do it all, I’ve seen it all and I know it all until last night on my way home from church. I took the kids to Wednesday night service like I always do, church is over I pick them up from the nursery. my 9 months old legs are still wobble-y so I have to carry her and my purse and my diaper bag and two package for my 2 year old. (Her birthday was 2 weeks ago, some people are still bringing her presents… love my church folks) anyway I’m carrying all that stuff let me make it clear that my 9months old is a little “healthy” I mean the girl is heavy! I’m a small person not all that strong. 2 year old sees a big guy, she is persuades that its her daddy. She wants to go investigate I’m holding a door with one foot trying to reason with her: “that’s not your daddy honey daddy still at work” The guy did kinda look like my husband from the back. she wouldn’t take my word for it. it wasn’t pretty my arm was about to give out, I’m just trying to make it to the car so I can put the little pounder down. Weeh! a good Samaritan from church saw me and helped me. as soon as I got everybody strap in, 2 year said “mommy I gah poopoo”! What! are you kidding me? there’s no way I’m getting you guys out of this car again. Then I remember a quote from my 5 year old step-daughter “You a baby, do it in your diaper” so being a “supermom” that I am… Yes I did I quoted my 5 year old. I told her to try to hold it our house is just a few block from the church she scream “no way!” (her favorite words these days) Now I quoted my 5 year old! you a baby, Do it in your diaper!
After so much hard work to get her potty train I never thought these words would come out of my mouth. The worst of it I had to clean that stinky poo! eewww pee-yeu!
What was the craziest thing you’ve told your kids?

I come across a blog called “I’d rather be changing diapers” I was like yeah me too! Until I actually had to change the diaper of my very sensitive soon to be two year old. Go ahead raise your eyebrow, what kinda mother am I right? See we started the potty training thing early, very early. she was about 4 months when we started I sit her on the little potty I make a Sssssss sound for #1 and the Mmmmmm sound for #2. and it worked. When she would finish we clap, sing the “you did it” song everything was going smooth. Now she is almost 2 and eating everything she decide she want to be a baby and go poopy in her pants, some says its because of the new baby. (I got 2 of them under 2 in case you wandering.) I don’t know what it is but I don’t like it. To get to the actual story here, yesterday I was upstairs in my office working, my mom babysit for me when I have to work. I think she did it on purpose, she found the poopy and sent it to me. where was I? yeah I was in my office then I hear a faint knock on the door I went and open it. It was my very sensitive soon to be 2 year old at the door. She was so embarrassed, she is twirling her shirt and looking down. So I was like oh honey what it is tell mommy and she says “mommy i gah poopoo”. aww poor thing! I knew she has already done it because when she would caught it on time she would be all cheery and proud of herself. So I took her to the bathroom… boy oh boy code 9! bio-hazard get it out of the house somebody get me a mask! a space suit! its all over eeww eww eww Then I thought about my very proud mommy statement “I’d rather be changing diapers” NOT! I’d rather be writing codes then touch this stuff.
eh well writing codes give me paychecks, cleaning poo give me hugs and kisses. I really like hugs and kisses! I guess that kinda imply that I like poopoo too now doesn’t it?

I have always been a big fan of “spare the rod spoil the child” meaning I don’t mind popping little legs once in a while. I got spanked, my sister got spanked, my brother got spanked and we all turn out okay, we are all good Christians, 2 engineer and a nurse. For any parent that’s a good turn out, none of us ended on shrink couch. Okay now that I’m done proving my point SPANKING DOES NOT HURT! Here is my dilemma: My one year old is copying things I do. She is very mischievous, so I pop her little hand here and there, now she tend to pop other people hands when she want her way. How do I teach her its okay for me to pop her, but its not okay for her to pop other people?

Just a Little show and tell from one mommy to another
Last time I was pregnant, I was looking to buy stuff for my baby girl. I search for online deals all over the place. Like all parent baby’srus is usually my first choice but when I took the time to compare the value of the products between Baby’sRus, Target, and walmart… Walmart was always the cheapest. You get the same product for way less, and with the site-to-store feature you don’t even need to pay shipping, just select your closest store and voila!
Bathing your baby can be a very exiting time and a very scary time.
When bathing your baby be sure to get the water nice and warm, and have everything you going to need before you get started. Reason being you don’t want to forget the soap or towel and have to go get it while your kid is sitting in the tub. My 10 months old loves her baths, its her favorite time of the day. She is also very active… the other day she was taking her bath and playing with Mr. ducky and hippo, Mr ducky slipped away she crawl after it and loses her grip, her knee slides she ended up on her face. I was watching I pulled her right out. That was a very fortunate story. Can you imagine if I had turn my head looking for soap or towel she would Have been on her face in the water gagging for air.
So when they say “never leave you baby unattended… “ I always laugh saying who’s fool gonna leave a baby in a tub by themselves? well it’s really easy you turn your head for a quick second, run to the closet for a towel or ransack the bathroom looking for soap. I know it only takes a second, it also only a second for your baby to drowned! So that was my highlight for the week, I learned something there.
I’m sharing this so no mom won’t have to figure this out the hard way.
