I was roaming through the blogsphere and checking out other mom bloggers. Since I have been in the blogging game for a while now, I have collected a great deal of friends. As I look into some of the mom bloggers most of them had some kind of writing back ground or aspiring to be writers or just love to write. I take a look at myself got me thinking… English is like my third language, my grammar is terrible, and I can’t spell to save my life! Am I just a big giant fraud?
I have other online businesses; I ran a dating site with my husband, a staycation directory but I never thought of a blog… I can remember to this day I was nursing a baby and working on my laptop, I had just had a major breakthrough in a code I was working on… I got so happy, I was shouting just needed someone to give a hug or high five. I just start talking to the baby: “Mommy did it girl! Give mommy high five! Say go mommy! Go mommy! Mommy’s a supermom she crack the code and nurse at the same time” (Yeah! I’m really into myself) She didn’t really care she just wanted some breast milk that’s all. In lack of “mature” people to talk to I just start talking to myself… So I would type my thoughts cause if I start talking out loud eh that would be kinda cookoo. So I head over to goddady bought a domain, install wordpress and just start talking to myself.
I never intended to be a blogger, I am not a writer! In fact my page has been up for a whole year before anybody notice it. I was just beyond myself when one day I posted something about “the effect of sugar on your life” (it was just an email my husband sent me… and again in lack of mature people to discuss the facts with me I post it)
And someone comment! And mention “I love your blog” blog? What blog? When did I start a blog?
So now am I a blogger? Is that just an offense to real bloggers? Anyway I have met so many great people and have learned so much, SupermomPlace has become such a great community of Supermoms… I LOVE y’all SUPERMOMs(tears)! I’m so glad blogging happen to me.

    Hi
I’m a very new blogger..I had no idea what I was getting into but I’m hooked!! Right now I can only manage to blog once or twice a week but I hope that will change someday.. I started because I wanted to share tips with other moms. I have never been any kind of writer and don’t even send out Christmas cards. What was I thinkin??? I did have a warning on my blog the first month that said “This blog was written without the use of an editor or hooked on phonics!” I spend more time editing what I’m trying to say than actually writing:(

I started blogging when I realized I needed to start reclaiming parts of my life that were MINE, and not my hsuband’s or kids’. I am surrounded by kids, and I just needed to “talk”, like you. And voila! :) Thanks for sharing!

Hi there! I started blogging just recently, my blog is my online journal of whats going on around me. And a cute documentation of my toddler’s development, I like the idea of sharing this to my son and realized how proud mommy was…

Supermomplace.com is great! It’s the reason I became a blogger or should I say I’m attempting to become a reputable blogger. I do have a writing background and wrote more during my undergraduate years especially when my now 10 yo son was born during my final year of undergrad. Now I do it because I needed a break from academic writing. It’s ‘suppose’ to serve as a distraction from Twitter and Facebook but I still do both. Writing for me is a need like air, food, shelter and family. I like my life so I share it. Thank you for encouraging me to step out on faith.

I don’t really know if I am a “real” blogger either. My daughter has been obsessed with The Wiggles the last few months, and it’s been on our t.v from the time she wakes up until she goes to bed. Finally I had dreams of The Wiggles, their songs would not get out of my head…so I thought why not put it into words. I found I was curious about these guys too, so there it all began. I am only 3 weeks into it, and only have 11 followers (including myself)but get lots of visitors.. so I of course thought about just throwing in the towel, but what would be the fun in that? Im a stay at home mom, so this is the only thing I have that is my own.
