To celebrate Earth day today
Kailee and I water the hibiscus, Kaylee couldn’t do it because it seems like just like her daddy she is allergic to pollen. I had to move my 2 hibiscus plant up to the balcony from the patio because both of them started to get real sick, my husband think its the flowers so I moved them just in case.

Anyway, we water all our plant, listen to birds, watch squirrel – later on we going to plant corn in a can!

I use to love doing that when I was a kid. I’ll plant 3 or 4 corn seeds in a can water it everyday and watch it grow. I use to have cans corn, black beans, papaya everything we eat that had a seed I would plant it. Too bad I never let them produce anything cause I would touch them too much, I always accidentally break the stem or drop the can or get bored cause it wasn’t growing fast enough. Hopefully this time around I can teach Kailee to be patient and not be like mommy was.

Happy Earth Day! What are you doing to celebrate? took your kids to work?

I was born before they ever had an Earth Day.

We grew anything that had a seed in the back yard. We had a field in the back we picked blackberries and strawberries.

We don’t need an Earth day. We need to take care of the Earth EVERY day.

Teach Kailee to respect the Earth. Oh, and patience is good too. :)

Thats what I always say, I was green before they had a name for it. my daughter is a nature lover, we took a little field trip to our local botanical garden I didn’t think they were gonna enjoy it since they so little (2 and 1 year old) but they loved it.

this weekend we’re going to the beach next its definitelly a garden week! wa-hoo!

When my kids get older we are going to participate in Earth Day. Even without Earth Day, I want to show my kids to take care of the world. I like your website. It’s very pretty!

How great! My girls would love to plant some corn in a can…but they’d dig out those seeds and eat them for a snack before I could stop them!
