Ok, Where have I been? I never heard about SocialSpark sponsored post before. I have had some vendors contact me about blogging for their products but they were never at my standard so I always turn them down. Therefore I have never written sponsored post before. Today I was blog hopping and come across this awesome platform called SocialSpark, Yea its a park a virtual park where bloggers meet with advertisers! cool huh? Basically you would create a profile add your blog, a little bio about yourself, your categories, keywords and what not… then they match you up with advertisers that best suit you. I just signed up with them, it took about 10 minutes or so… it was pretty easy: Just the basic user name, password, email step and you in! Once you create your account you have to claim your blog. The way you do so is they give you a little snippet of code that you place within your HTML and hit the claim blog button. I had to try it several time cause each time I would hit claim blog I would get an error saying that they couldn’t find the code in my blog, I had to go to their help board and it seems like it was a known problem others have had that same issue before, I twitted @izealove and he reply with a link directing me to the answer to my problem. I just repeated the step, refreshed my page and ka-boom I was in! Now I can go in a select cool product I want to write about and write about them! How cool is that?
Anyhow, if any of you are interested in signing up here you go: Sign up for SocialSpark Let me know how you like it.

Jessica over at Riding with Jessica ask me to share the how-tos of my country backyard grown Aloe Vera conditioner so here it is.
*Ok folks I failed chemistry in school so try this at your own risk*
I was recovering from that stomach virus that put me out of commission last week, I had sweat out the fever. I woke up all icky and disgusted so a hair wash was totally in order then I got in the bathroom and realize I was out of shampoo and conditioner so I use my baby Johnson baby shampoo calming lavender on my hair. Stupid shampoo dry out every piece of moisture in my hair (note self: find some other shampoo for my girls)
any way so I went outside to my Aloe Vera bush (yes, I grow Aloe) and grab a leaf.

Hair products commercial are always bragging about how their product contain Aloe & E and stuff. So I thought what better way to use it than raw fresh of the ground.

I peel it to get the gel out that’s how it look after I peel it, you can see the gooey gel in the little cup

then I ran it through a little food processor to so I can get all the juice

I simply cover all my hair with it like you would do a normal conditioner, comb it through the hair should be all wet and gooey by then put it in the wrap and sit under a dryer cap(for faster). since I HATE dryers and I was home for the day I let mine sit all day until it was dry.
The only downside it left a whole bunch of little white residue in my hair after it was dry. I had to brush them out. Next time I need to drain it to get all the little Aloe part out, they turn like little white residue. Its not that bad I was able to brush them out really fast.
And now here is the finish hair, not a perfect picture, next time I’ll try to use a real camera

Anyway, you can give it a try if you want to, they have the Aloe Vera leaf at Publix, or any green market should have them. The worse that could happen it you get little white stuff stuck in your hair.
I read that Aloe promote healthy hair, hair growth, shine and softness… I can testify to the shine and softness. My hair was soft and shiny awww. Have you ever try to make your own hair product or skin stuff?
